Claire and Lucas from the BMRG sustainable ag team attended The Kewpie Rural Round Up last Wednesday. The Round Up created a welcoming space where producers, businesses, industry professionals, students, and families gathered, to explore new ideas, celebrate regional achievements, and discuss the future of Australian agriculture.
It presented BMRG the opportunity to showcase our projects available to primary producers and the broader agriculture industry such as Empowering Adaptive Graziers, Grass 2 and Inland Burnett Integrated Project. It also gave Claire and Lucas the opportunity to engage and have meaningful conversations with stakeholders and producers.
They were able to share helpful resources and give the community insights into the work BMRG is delivering to ensure the sustainability of our region. It is rewarding supporting a locally owned family business with deep roots in the South Burnett who believe strongly in the role such events play in supporting the vibrancy and sustainability of rural communities.
The event also raised funds for LifeFlight, helping support a service that provides critical, life-saving care to rural and regional Australians when it is needed most.
