Landholders and primary producers are invited to take part in an eight-day Holisitic Management Course hosted by Kandanga Farm Store in the Mary Valley, designed to improve farm profitability, strengthen soil health and biodiversity, and build resilience to floods and drought.
Delivered by Inside Outside Management, the course explores practical approaches to managing land, livestock and natural resources through informed decision-making. Participants will learn how to balance production goals with environmental outcomes, improve paddock health and soil fertility, and develop strategies that support long-term farm sustainability.
Held at Kandanga Community Hall in collaboration with Kandanga Farm Store, the course will run across four two-day sessions from November 2026 to February 2027:
Session 1 - Nov 17/18 (Tues-Wed)
Session 2 - Dec 15/16 (Tues-Wed)
Session 3 - Jan 19/20 (Tues-Wed)
Session 4 - Feb 16/17 (Tues-Wed)
The training includes practical resources covering holistic grazing and financial planning, along with course materials, morning and afternoon tea, and lunches.
The course fee is $2,420 per person (including GST), with discounts available for partners attending together and previous course participants. Eligible producers may also qualify for funding assistance through Rural Aid.
