Queensland producers now have improved access to essential land management information, with the state’s stock route network available as a layer on the Queensland Globe mapping platform.
Accessible via the “Topics” tab at qldglobe.information.qld.gov.au, this tool allows landholders and graziers to overlay the stock route network directly onto their maps. Importantly, users can also view active travel and grazing permits in relation to the network—offering real-time insight into how stock routes are being accessed and managed across the landscape.
This upgrade provides valuable spatial context for planning livestock movement and aligning with current regulatory and environmental requirements. By supporting transparency and smarter land use decisions, it contributes to the broader goal of sustainable, productive landscapes across Queensland.
BMRG encourages landholders in the Burnett Mary region to make full use of this platform, and to connect with our team for guidance on aligning land management strategies with regional natural capital outcomes.
