The Burnett Mary region was hit hard by the heavy rainfall and flooding that began on Saturday 7 March. We know many of you are still dealing with the impacts, and we want to make sure our region gets the support it needs to recover.
Right now, one of the most important things we can do is build a clear picture of what has happened across the catchments. Whether you’ve experienced damage yourself, or you know neighbours who have, please take a few minutes to complete.
The survey asks about impacts such as fencing losses, livestock and crop damage, topsoil loss, infrastructure damage, loss of power, and creek or riverbank erosion. Your responses will be treated confidentially and will help guide recovery funding applications for our region.
Looking After Yourself
We know this event has been tough, especially for those who have been through multiple floods in recent years. Recovery takes time, and it’s important to look after yourself as well as your property.
If you need support, please reach out:

We understand you may not be able to report on the full impact to your property yet for various reasons. The survey will be active over the coming weeks, giving you more time to complete this.
