Newsroom 1 min read , May 21, 2026

Farmers, agribusinesses and regional decision-makers will have the opportunity to explore practical clean energy solutions at the National Renewables in Agriculture Conference and Expo, to be held in Orange, NSW on 12 August 2026.

The event will bring together farmers, industry experts, energy consultants, peak bodies, councils and government representatives to discuss how renewable energy can help reduce on-farm costs, lower emissions and strengthen long-term business resilience.

The conference program will cover a broad range of topics, including biofuels and future farm machinery, bioenergy, agrivoltaics, farm electrification, battery technologies, mid-scale solar and the national energy transition. Attendees will hear from farmers already using renewables on their properties, alongside industry specialists sharing practical insights and emerging opportunities.

A farmer gathering will be held on 11 August, providing an informal opportunity to meet landholders who are already cutting costs through renewable energy, including wind turbine hosts and farmers using behind-the-meter solutions. On 13 August, conference attendees can also join a tour of either See Saw Solar Winery or Flyers Creek Wind Farm.

The conference and expo will run from 8am to 7pm at The Greenhouse, Orange NSW, with the conference program live from 9am to 5pm and post-conference networking from 5pm to 7pm.
