BMRG is proud to host the 2026 Science Forum, bringing together technical experts, landholders, and government stakeholders to explore practical, on-ground solutions for improving water quality and protecting the Great Barrier Reef.
Taking place on Tuesday, 21 April 2026 (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM) at the Chaverim Shalom College Outdoor & Environment Centre in South Bingera, this on-site event offers a unique opportunity to experience restoration in action.
Participants will explore before-and-after restoration zones and gain a deeper understanding of how targeted interventions are reducing sediment runoff into the reef system. The forum will also highlight the broader environmental, cultural, and economic benefits of landscape restoration across the Burnett Mary region.
