Hosted by Leather Cattle Co, this complimentary field day will bring together local producers, industry experts and project partners to demonstrate how practical land management can improve farm productivity while reducing erosion, nutrient loss and sediment movement across the Inland Burnett Catchment.
Participants will gain practical insights into grazing management, farm-scale natural capital accounting, Natural Sequence Farming, and emerging carbon, biodiversity and natural capital market opportunities. The program also includes a guided property tour showcasing sustainable management practices and landscape restoration initiatives in action.
Hear from industry experts Andrew Zerner (Resource Consulting Services), Dr Amanda Hansson (Accounting for Nature), Dr Matt Taylor (BMRG) and Stuart Andrews (Tarwyn Park Training), who will share practical knowledge on improving landscape function, measuring natural capital assets and preparing for future environmental market opportunities.
